DAYA NUEVA
Daya Nueva is a small municipality of about 2,000 inhabitants, located southeast of the province of Alicante, in the Comarca del Bajo Segura, which occupies an area of 7.2 km2 and at a distance of 44 km. from Alicante and 196 from Valencia.
It is located in a privileged enclave, in the center of that region, just 12 km. of the coast.
The municipal area is crossed by the AP-7 (Alicante-Cartagena Highway), so it is especially well connected with both the capital and the airport, the coast, the Hospital de la Vega Baja, etc.
It enjoys a very warm climate favored by its location in the middle of the Segura depression and a short distance from the coast.
It is a traditional irrigated area, with agriculture being one of its main resources, which is why it is completely surrounded by an orchard, with citrus, artichoke and potatoes among its main crops. The furniture industry and all services related to construction are part of the industrial gear of the municipality.
You have some beautiful Spanish style villages around like Dolores, Rojales, Almoradi, Benijofar ad also well developed Ciudad Quesada, then beautiful beaches 12 minutes drive in Guardamar del Segura and La Marina.
If you like golf you have 2 golf courses nearby, 10 minutes drive La Marquesa Golf and La Finca Golf 15 minutes.
